US firm begins construction of new medium unmanned vessels

Birdon America has begun building its first tranche of medium unmanned surface vessels at C&C Marine & Repair in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. C&C Marine plans to produce one vessel every two months, while Mythos AI will supply the autonomy technology used to operate the craft with limited human control.
